现在有新名词分别叫“宅男”“宅女”，指足不出户，长期待在家里的人。我是有工作的职业女性（此处表情为偷笑😏），可是除了去工作真的很宅。现在资讯这么发达，你宅在家里可以撒了欢儿的上天入地，无所不能，所以各种功能退化，与人交往也越来越少，人越来越成为网络的一部分，凯文·凯利的书《必然》里说，第三个千禧年人类最大的成就就是织网，把世界织成一个巨大的网，每个人都是网上的一环。我们的生活因此而改变，宅就是其中的改变之一。
我很享受宅，不会觉得闷，老是觉得宅的时间不够，又要出门了。在家上网、画画、听音乐、做家务，读书，随心所欲、无规无矩，也可以什么都不做，发呆（也可以叫思考😊），刚读了一篇叔本华的文章，说是思考比读书重要，这就给我发呆找到了一个冠冕堂皇的理由。
总之，一个人宅在家里是很美妙的事情，发呆也是很美妙的事情，许多事在虚幻里是美丽的，变成现实就成了笑话。
